Letter to David Nicholls

Hey, David! How are you!? 

I never know how start letters, mainly if I don't know the person personally. But, I really wish to tell you how "One Day" is important to me.

My name is Lorena, 20 years old, almost 21. I'm from Brazil; I study administration and ONE DAY I wish to be a writer.

Today is July 15 and I'm very excited about my "literary memories" and I really wish can read your book again and again. Except that I cry every single time which I read the end of the book.

I've been feeling like Emma since I met her, except I hate to write poems, and OK, my English is terrible. But she feels like me and she has the same dreams and a terrible romantic life!

When I won your book, I didn't expect that it could mark my life like your words marked. And now I don't know how I can say thank you and encourage you to writing amazing things. So I wish that today be a wonderful day for me and you because, like you teach me, July 15 can be anything.

Eu postei a carta aqui porque não achei - nem com mandinga - o e-mail do David Nicholls. Apenas o endereço de correspondência do agente dele e eu me recuso a enviar uma carta a uma pessoa, que leia e talvez passe para ele :(
